Ayodhya Prasad Upadhyay 'Harioudh' is taken in a lot of respect from poets who are honoring the Khari Boli in poetry language. In the last decade of the nineteenth century, around 1890 AD, Ayodhya Prasad Upadhyay made his debut in the field of literary service.

Family and education

Ayodhya Prasad Upadhyay was born in 15 April 1865 AD in Nizamabad district of Azamgarh. The name of the father of Harioudh was Bhola Singh and the mother's name was Rukmani Devi. Because of ill health, Harioudh ji did not study in the school, so he studied Urdu, Sanskrit, Persian, Bengali and English at home. In 1883, he became the headmaster of the Nizamabad middle school. After passing the law degree in 1890, you became a law guru. In 1923 Kashi became Professor of Hindu University after taking leave from the post.


The creation of the first epic master Harioudh ji of the steep dialect is detailed in three eras of Hindi-

1. Bharatendu era

2. Dwivedi era

3. Chhayawad era

Therefore, the role of ' Harioudh' ji in the development of Hindi poetry is similar to the foundations of the foundation. He has successfully used Sanskrit verses in Hindi. In the Sanskrit epicenter of 'Priyaprasvas', where 'Hari Oudh' gave the first epic to the standing quote, at the same time, under the common Hindustani colloquium, 'Chokhe Chopde' and 'Chubhate Chopade', underlining the power of idolatry of Urdu Juban.

Harioudh was found to be the most famous poet in his poetry because of his 'Priyabhas'. The poetry works of the past with the composition of 'Priyapravas' are the essence of their use towards poetry. 'Chokhe Chopde' and 'Vaidehi Banwas' are notable in the works following 'Priyapravas'.
