Ram Naik is an Indian politician who is the current governor of Uttar Pradesh. These are very popular among the people of Maharashtra. He has made a mark of winning the Mumbai Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra for five consecutive times.
Ram Naik was born on April 16, 1934, in Sangli, Maharashtra. School education took place in Atpadi village of Sangli district. B.com from 1954 in the Maharashtra Commerce College in Pune. LLB from Kishan Chand Chelaram college in 1958.
He started his post in the office of Accountant General in the office of Additional Category Clerk. Later, he rose to his higher positions and in 1969, as a company secretary and managing adviser in the private sector, he did his job. He has been a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since childhood.
Ram Naik has made a record of winning five consecutive times from the North Mumbai Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra.
After honouring Ram Naik as the governor of Uttar Pradesh on July 14, 2014, by the Honorable President of India, Shri Naik took office in Lucknow on July 22, 2014, and nominated as the Governor of Rajasthan on August 5, 2014. After Ram Naik took over the additional charge of Rajasthan Governor from August 8, 2014, to September 3, 2014.
Ram Naik as the petroleum minister took charge in October 1999. Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas from October 13, 1999, to May 13, 2004.
Ram Naik suffered a malignant illness in 1994, but Ram Naik also defeated that disease, thereafter he was working as a bonus of his life in the last 21 years with the same enthusiasm and efficiency.
On July 15, 2014, Ram Naik resigned from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party and from all posts. By assuming office in Lucknow on July 22, 2014, he is well-known as the governor of Uttar Pradesh.
