United State restricted Metals from Iran

US President Donald Trump has announced an executive order on May 08, 2019 to ban Iranian metals. By issuing executive decisions, President Trump has banned Iran's steel, iron, aluminum and copper exports.

The main objective of this decision is to prevent Iran from collecting revenue by exporting steel, iron, aluminum and copper to Iran. According to the US, Iran can use this money to increase its military power in addition to its nuclear program. The United States has not even talked about importing Iranian metals to other countries.

  • Iranian President Hassan Rohani said on 08 May 2019 that his country will stop following some important part of the nuclear agreement that took place during the Obama government.
  • Iran will set a 60-day deadline for new conditions for the first treaty to start uranium enrichment.
