Nobel Peace Prize 2018 declared to Dennis Mukewege and Nadia Murad

The Nobel Prize Selection Committee announced the award of Dennis Mukwege and Nadia Murad to work in the peace zone on 05 October 2018.

Second youngest Nobel Prize winner: It is worth mentioning that Nadia Murad is the second youngest Nobel laureate after Malala Yousafzai. Malala Yousafzai was awarded the Nobel Prize at the age of 17 in 2014.

In 2016, Nadia has been awarded the Sakharov Human Rights Honor of the European Union. This year Nadia was also awarded the Wakelev Havel Human Rights Award in Europe.

Nadiad Murad is a Yazidi human rights activist of Iraq. Nadia Murad is the founder of the campaign. This institution helps women and children who are victims of genocide, mass torture and human trafficking. The institution helps them regain their life again and recover from those bad memories.

Dennis Mukewege: Dennis Mukewege is a sociologist from African country, Congo. Together with the colleagues he has treated 30 thousand victims of gangrape in Congo. Together with these women, the rebels had organized mass misdeeds. Dennis has also received the Sakharov Award for the European Parliament in 2014. Dennis Mukewege spent his entire life in service to the victim victims of sexual violence during the war. Dr. Mukwege and his team have so far treated thousands of victims in their hospital in Bukabo, Congo. Dr. Mukwege founded this hospital in 2008. More than six million citizens were affected during the long-running civil war in Congo. Dr. Dennis Mukwege, who has made his mark at the national and international level, says it is the right of everyone to get justice.
