Home Minister Amit Shah launched 'E-Beat Book' and 'E-Saathi' app

The first unified ERSS, E-Beat Book, E-SAATHI App in the country was recently launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, so that ordinary citizens in Chandigarh will not need to remember different numbers for assistance in emergency. For this, all types of assistance will be made available to the general public on the new service emergency response support system dial 112.

For the protection of women and children, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs made such apps available to the public under the Nirbhaya Fund so that crimes against women and children can be reduced. Apart from this, e-beat book and e-Saathi app have also been started.

E-beat book

  • Under the e-beat book system, Android phones have been given to every "e-beat book" in charge.
  • In this app,  the beat-incharge will have a complete record of policing.
  • All the important information related to the city such as the market, jeweller, liquor contracts, list of senior citizens, good bad citizens of PG area will be available in one clik.
  •  The entire record about criminals will be recorded on the e-beat book.
  • Any citizen can easily give information about any type of criminal activity, drug sale, gambling and betting etc. to the police.
  • Along with this, senior citizens of the area will also be in contact with the police through this app.
  • There will also be an e-beat main interactive feature, so that you will be able to contact the residents of the concerned area directly.
  • Through this feature you can give them suggestions and complaints.

 

E-Saathi app

  • With the "e-Saathi app", the general public will have to inform the chief of police station of their area of ??services like passport verification, tenant verification, servant verification, character verification etc. under the "Aapki Police Aapke Dwar" scheme.
  • On pressing the button, the concerned police station will provide the desired service by sending a beat soldier at their given time.
  • For this, citizens have to download a related application by pressing a button.
  • This technology will be strong and efficient with the technical skills.
  • The beat soldier will be fully adjusted and compatible with CCTNS and ERSS.
