HC asked the government to public the name of non Defaulters

HC asked the government to public the name of non Defaulters

The Bombay High Court asked the Central Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to respond to the Central Information Commission (CIC) on the petition filed by the Central Information Commission (CIC) on Thursday.

On July 4, the CIC had asked the RBI to make public the names of those who did not pay the debt. Apart from this, the central bank has asked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the letter written by former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan to make the public even lied to it.

The High Court deliberately wanted to know the government's stand on CIC's decision to make public the names of non-defaulters. While hearing a petition filed by Ajay Gupta, resident of Delhi, CIC had asked the RBI to provide information within four weeks.

In the absence of this, the CIC issued a show-cause notice to the RBI governor Urjit Patel, who had deliberately not honored the Supreme Court's decision to make public the names of non-defaulters.

After this, on 18 November, the CIC once again instructed the RBI to make the letter written by Rajan to the public about the list and the debt trapped. The Central Bank filed a petition in the Bombay High Court this week challenging the CIC's July 4 decision and the due show notice issued to Patel.
