Brahmos missile with a range of 500 km launched by DRDO

The Central Government has taken note of the increase in capacity of the BrahMos missile towards further strengthening the country's security after air strikes like Balakot. According to BrahMos Aerospace CEO Sudhir Kumar Mishra, the upgraded version of Swadeshi BrahMos missile is ready with an increased range of 500 km.

CEO Sudhir Kumar Mishra said that it is possible to increase the range of this missile as India is now a part of the Missile Technology Control System (MTCR). It has so far distinguished the target of 290 km.
