Book 'The Diary of Manu Gandhi' released

'The Diary of Manu Gandhi' was released by Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel in New Delhi. This book has been produced by the National Archives of India in association with Oxford University Press. The first volume of diary of Manu Gandhi, granddaughter of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, has been translated from Gujarati to English by Dr. Tridip Suhrid.

Gandhiji's routine between 1943 and 1944 is recorded in this diary. Manu Gandhi (Mridula) was the daughter of Mahatma Gandhi's nephew Jayasukhalal Amritlal Gandhi. She was with Gandhiji till January 30, 1948. Manu also lived in the Aga Khan palace with Kasturba.
